Technical Summary
The Leverage SDK application program interfaces (API’s) are implemented to be platform and hardware independent. Our API’s can also be fully customized for your game instance, and can be easily adapted to work for any type of game, from peer hosted servers and dedicated officially hosted servers (in the case of an MMO), to licensed and privately run dedicated game servers.
The API is defined in C, allowing its use in C, C++, C#, and any language with C bindings, such as Java, Python, Perl, etc. Additionally, we provide full support with both integration and customization of our technology within any game title.
Our secure authentication architecture is based around SSL-like encryption with key signing validation of server instances, including a self-descriptive dynamic message protocol, support for any data type required by the implementer, and compression.
Pragmatic is highly experienced in the needs of large-scale AAA titles, but all services and technology are implemented to be platform, engine and hardware independent, fully scalable and well-suited to games of any size and quality.
Done in real-time through Pragmatic’s infrastructure, in-game data is collected to update learner profiles without impeding the flow of the environment, a requirement that is critical to fostering both engagement (important for commercial entertainment games) and the potential for learning (vital for educational titles, trainings, and simulations).
Leverage supports the dynamic delivery and modification of any and all elements in the game, with the capability of providing individualized content to a large user base in near real-time. Elements dynamically delivered into the environment may include static or scrolling textual content, images, audio, video, or other in-game objects as defined by the framework of the game. The system is accessible through the Leverage Developers portal, where all tools and components can be managed and data shared between members of a development team.
Leverage includes a performance assessment system to collect and organize data dynamically, a rule-based statistical tracking system to summarize acquired data, a dynamic content delivery system, a behavioral inference engine, and an interactive data visualization application.
